UBB Student i-Lab: Experience and Shape the Future

On October 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., a meeting dedicated to the UBB Student i-Lab internship program took place in Room 120, offering students the opportunity to explore the entrepreneurial development opportunities available to students at Babeș-Bolyai University.

The UBB Student i-Lab program offers students the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship beyond the theoretical framework through practical activities, interactions with experts, and learning experiences connected to the business environment. Participants can take part in incubation modules designed to help them transform their ideas into viable business concepts, develop their entrepreneurial skills, and gain a better understanding of the steps involved in launching a business.

An important feature of the program is access to international workshops led by professors and entrepreneurs, meetings with business representatives, and personalized mentoring sessions with relevant experts and stakeholders. These activities help students develop a practical understanding of entrepreneurship and build valuable professional connections at both local and international levels.

The program also includes a progress assessment component through the “Demo Day UBB Student i-Lab” competition, where students present their entrepreneurial ideas to an international jury and compete for prizes designed to support the development and market launch of their business concepts.
